Tim Yankosky b. 1959

Tim Yankosky is a full-time assemblage artist who resides in Greenville SC where he owns and operates his home studio. Mostly self-taught with a few courses in painting and metal arts from SF State, his art career began in San Francisco, California. The influence of the metal arts courses was strong and impacted his artwork substantially. His interest in the use of vintage metal measuring tapes is rooted in deep childhood memories of the tapes and a desire to create with unique and nontraditional materials.

Yankosky’s artworks can be found in the private collections of Delta Airlines, JP Morgan corporate art collection and a multitude of private collections. He has been involved in numerous national and international shows with representing galleries in the US and Canada.
